We, Us, Our refers to Bedfordshire Serenity School. By continuing to browse this website you are agreeing you understand and will follow the terms and conditions of use. 

Bedfordshire Serenity School reserves all rights to change part of the terms and conditions, courses and prices. By booking a course, treatment or e-voucher you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.


Course Information

Please Read

  1. It is your responsibility to refer to all course information to ensure that you understand what is included in your course, and any pre-requisites needed.
  2. Course payments made are non-refundable.
  3. A PayPal account is required for safe and secure payment.
  4. Payment details will be emailed shortly after enrolling onto your course.
  5. Full payment must be made for all online courses including online course bundles.
  6. Full payment must made 21 days before practical training to confirm your space, deposits can be made reserve your spot.
  7. (Payments can also be made using gift vouchers).
  8. Gift vouchers can be used towards online, practical courses, course deposits and bundles.
  9. Gift vouchers are valid for 1 year, and sent by email, when used as payment the e-voucher code must be used.

  11. You are agreeing to send any requested documents before training can go ahead.
  12. You are agreeing to the possibility of being contacted regarding your experience with your experience with Bedfordshire serenity school. 
  13. The website contains links to other websites for training. Once you have used these links to leave this site, you should note that Bedfordshire Serenity School does not have control of that other website. The links to other websites have their own terms and conditions, Bedfordshire Serenity School is not responsible for them. 

Training Manuals

  1. Comprehensive training manuals have been written to high standards & includes important relevant theoretical information for your course. 
  2. Training manuals will be emailed at the earliest convenience after full payment has been made. 
  3. Training manuals are emailed out once, there is an additional cost for re-sending them of £35.00. 
  4. You will need access to the training manual on a device or printed out for practical training.
  5. All manuals are the intellectual property of Bedfordshire Serenity School and all rights are reserved and remain the property of Bedfordshire Serenity School. Any copies made of course materials, booklets or training aids will be an infringement of copyright, all materials are digitally imprinted and can be traced back to the original owner.

Assessments

  1. Depending on your course, assessments may include examinations, case studies, practical assessments & questioning.
  2. Online course assessment must be completed within 1 year or 2 years on course bundles.
  3. There are unlimited attempts to re-take your assessment.
  4. In the unlikely event student does not pass the assessment on a practical course, student will need to practice routine/procedure, and re-arrange the assessment at an additional cost of £35.00.
  5. All case studies for practical courses must be completed within 6 months of practical training to gain qualifications. Should case studies take longer than this there is a charge of £50.00.

Online Courses

Independent self-directed learning.

How It Works

  1. Enrol onto your course, using the form, when full payment has been made you will receive your course via email.
  2. There is 1 year to complete assessments on a individual accredited and approved courses to gain qualification.
  3. There are 2 years to complete assessments for online course bundles to gain qualifications.
  4. Support can be made via email, there is an option for additional telephone support at £25 per 30 minutes.
  5. There is no certificate or assessment for knowledge based non-accredited courses.

Face To Face Courses

There is continuous support before, during and after training.

How It Works 

  1. Individualised 1 - 1 or 2 - 1. 
  2. Your training manual will be emailed before your training day/s to ensure there is dedicated hands on learning.
  3. There will be an overview of the training manual before hands on practical training commences.
  4. Access to the training manuals is required for your training. This could be on a laptop, tablet, or printed out.
  5. Pen and paper would be useful for notetaking.
  6. Training is delivered to your premises, such as the home, home based salon or salon premises, covering in and around Bedfordshire. 
  7. No pets are allowed during training.

Equipment

  1. Access to the training manuals will be needed for training. This could be on a laptop, tablet, or printed out.
  2. Pen and paper would be useful for notetaking.
  3. You will need to provide 2 large towels.
  4. Equipment and products will be provided for training, however, for your own comfort you have the option to use your own, if you have it.

Models

  1. Students should be prepared to receive treatment for training purposes.
  2. You will need to arrange your own models for one to one training. Where there are 2 students you will work on each other.
  3. All models must be over 18 without contra-indications, you will be aware of the relevant contra-indications for the course in the training manual. It is your responsibility to confirm that your model does not have any contra-indications. If models are found to have any contra-indication on the training day, training will be deemed to be 'cancelled' and you will need to rebook the course at full cost.
  4. Models do not have to be pregnant for pregnancy massage courses. Pregnant models are unable to have massage treatments before 14 weeks. Pregnant models must have written approval from their G.P or midwife to model for all massage courses.
  5. Models for manicure and pedicure must remove all nail extensions and polish. Models for waxing must be aware all areas can be waxed for training.
  6. Real babies are not required for baby massage and baby reflexology practical courses. Demonstration dolls will be used for training.

Qualification

Once you have successfully completed your Bedfordshire Serenity School Course you will receive a printable certificate by email at the earliest opportunity. 

Cancellation

  1. If models fail to show up training will be deemed to be 'cancelled' and you will need to rebook the course at full cost.
  2. If you need to cancel a training day 14 days notice must be given and the training day will need to be re-arranged when available. 
  3. If less than 14 days notice is given full payment will be needed to rebook training at full cost.

Privacy Policy

  • All information provided is strictly for training treatment purposes.
  • All information provided is strictly confidential between student or client and Bedfordshire Serenity School.
  • Information is never shared or disclosed to a third party.
  • Occasionally you may receive an email about new treatments, courses, offers and discounts.
